Do you tend to compare yourself to others?

Do friends, family or perhaps even perfect strangers tell you that you simply don’t fit in or measure up to their standards?

Well, the One who knew you before you were in your mother’s womb says this:

13 “For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.”Psalm 139:13-16

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord created us as unique human beings with talents that are individually designed. Comparing ourselves to others simply will not work.  So, remember how special you are to Him.
